This Policy covers TRADEL’s website, mobile app, account features, listings, chat, area alerts, optional On the Road journeys, support and related technical operations. Third-party websites or booking pages opened from TRADEL are governed by their own privacy notices.
TRADEL may use device location in the foreground when you use a map, choose a listing location or set an area alert. You can also choose locations manually where that option is available.
On the Road is optional. Only after you deliberately start a journey can TRADEL process location for that active journey while the app is not visible, minimized or closed. This enables the journey listing and matching area alerts. Android may delay a periodic update because of battery-management rules; TRADEL does not promise an exact update interval.
We store only the latest location associated with an active journey and replace it with a newer update. We do not create or retain a route, movement history or location profile. Location is not used for advertising or analytics. You can stop the journey in the app; location processing for that journey then ends, subject to limited technical records needed for security and service operation.
For private listings, a public map position is shown approximately 5 km away from the actual location. Business listings may show the location chosen by the business more precisely. Your precise device location is not shown publicly as a private user’s live position.
We do not sell personal data. We share or make data available only where needed to operate TRADEL:
TRADEL’s primary infrastructure is operated from Germany. Some service providers, including Google Firebase services, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer requires safeguards, we use the transfer mechanism and contractual protections required by applicable law.
The native TRADEL app does not use classic browser cookies. It uses local device storage and secure storage for functions such as login state, preferences, temporary technical state and app operation.
On the website, essential cookies and local storage may be used for functions such as consent and language settings. Website traffic is measured with first-party server access logs and derived pseudonymous analytics records. TRADEL does not use Firebase Analytics in the app and does not use location for advertising analytics. More detail is available in our Cookies & App Storage information.
You can delete your account in the TRADEL app through App Settings → Delete Account.
You can also request deletion without the app through the page below. We send a confirmation link to the email address on the account.
After confirmation, normal account access ends immediately. We delete the account and associated data within 30 days. Payment records may be retained where required by law.
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, objection to certain processing and withdrawal of consent for the future. You may also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, including the authority responsible for your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, including access controls, encrypted connections where supported and security monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Policy when TRADEL or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version here and, where required, provide additional notice through the app or by email.
We use this data to provide, secure and moderate anonymous chat and to prevent misuse. Other Campfire participants receive the messages and profile details that you choose to share in the chat.
Deleting relevant browser data can remove access to your anonymous profile. Profile and chat data may be removed after inactivity or where required for safety, legal or operational reasons. Campfire is not intended for sensitive personal information.
