Cookies & App Storage
Website: essential cookies and local storage
TRADEL uses essential browser storage to provide website functions, such as login sessions, security and language or interface preferences.
- Session and security cookies: needed for login, CSRF protection and secure website operation.
- Preference storage: used for language and interface choices.
Website analytics: Google Analytics 4 and server logs
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is used to understand website visits and improve TRADEL. GA4 is loaded only after you actively enable analytics in the cookie banner or Cookie Settings. It is not loaded before that choice.
TRADEL also uses first-party Apache server access logs for security, troubleshooting and basic traffic statistics. These records may include requested pages, timestamps, referrer, browser or device category, IP address and pseudonymous technical identifiers. They do not set analytics cookies and are not used to build advertising profiles.
Native TRADEL app: local storage and technical services
The native TRADEL app does not use classic browser cookies. It uses local device storage and secure storage to support login state, preferences, temporary technical state and normal app operation.
- Local app storage: session state, selected settings and cache needed for the app to work reliably.
- Firebase technical services: Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications and Firebase Realtime Database for realtime technical features.
- No Firebase Analytics: TRADEL does not use Firebase Analytics in the native app and does not use advertising identifiers or in-app behaviour tracking for advertising profiles.
Campfire Chats
Campfire Chats uses a random browser or device identifier and local data to keep an anonymous chat session stable. It is separate from a TRADEL App account. Further information is in the Campfire section of the Privacy Policy.
Manage your choices
- Website analytics: open Cookie Settings in the footer to change your analytics choice. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser.
- App storage: clear app cache or app data through Android settings. This removes local app data, but does not automatically delete your TRADEL account.
- For account deletion, data rights and location processing, see the Privacy Policy.
