UGANDA LOCAL TOURISM NETWORKS
A simple online presence. Prepared by your network.
Your tourism organisation can prepare a public profile page for each member, even if the business does not have its own website yet.
Each provider can present a specific stay, guided activity, craft experience or practical service. Your network helps with the first step; every business keeps its own identity.
A starting point online, not a replacement for a full website. See how it works
01 / LOCAL POSSIBILITIES
Small groups. Specific offers.
One tourism network may support very different members. Rather than publishing only the group's name, it can help each provider explain exactly what visitors may book, visit or arrange.
A community-led nature walk
A guiding group can describe a particular walk, its meeting point and what is included, subject to applicable permissions.
A craft collective visit
Local makers can introduce a scheduled demonstration or hands-on workshop instead of presenting only their organisation.
A rural homestay
A family-run host can show a specific stay, with useful information about arrival and how to get in touch.
A local transport connection
An independent operator can explain a particular journey or transfer option, where permitted.
These are examples, not claims about offers currently listed on TRADEL. Public profile pages complement existing websites and directories; TRADEL is not integrated with a government tourism directory.
02 / ONE NETWORK, MANY IDENTITIES
The organisation helps. The business speaks for itself.
Digital skills, time and the cost of building a website can make getting started difficult. The organisation prepares each member’s own public profile page instead of grouping unrelated businesses into one listing.
-
01
Prepare a public profile page
Create a shareable online profile for each member, with a description and business details.
-
02
Describe a concrete offer
Add a specific stay, guided activity, craft experience or practical service under the right provider.
-
03
Hand over when ready
Members may claim their profile later, while the organisation can continue to help manage it.
03 / START WITH A SMALL GROUP
Begin with the businesses already in your network.
A small voluntary pilot can help assess whether separate, situation-specific offers are useful. It does not require an entire membership directory to be imported.
